BCCI Reveals Why Virat And Rohit Will Not Play ODIs And T20
The appearance of the white-ball squads held great significance as it provided insight into the future white-ball strategies of the Indian cricket team. The BCCI’s press release stated otherwise, despite rumors that Rohit Sharma would captain the T20Is against South Africa.
There isn’t an injury keeping Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli out of the T20Is and ODIs. According to a BCCI announcement, the two freely informed BCCI that they wished to take a vacation from the white-ball portion of the South Africa Tour.
“A break from the white-ball leg of the tour was sought by Mr. Virat Kohli and Mr. Rohit Sharma to the Board. Because of his ongoing medical care, Mohd. Shami’s availability is contingent upon his health. Subject to fitness, Mr. Abhimanyu Easwaran’s availability is contingent,” the BCCI stated in a statement.
